Managers get an instant overview of all requests, which they can approve quickly, without paperwork and unnecessary chaos. The number of questions from employees drops, because the terminal shows the current status of requests as well as available balances.
For accountants
The HR manager or payroll clerk will appreciate the automatic processing of absences, which reduces errors and saves time especially during monthly closings. All attendance and balance data is stored consistently and can be exported to the payroll system without manual re-entry.
For employees
Employees handle their request directly on the terminal within a few minutes, with no forms and no running between offices. In one place they see an overview of their balances, overtime and the current status of their requests in real time.
How absence tracking works via the terminal
Login
The employee logs in to the terminal using a chip, PIN code, fingerprint or face recognition. After logging in, the Requests menu appears automatically, where they can easily create or track their absences.
Choosing the absence type
In a clear menu, the employee selects the specific type of absence – leave, doctor visit, sick leave, home office, work obstacles or other defined types. The system offers only the options allowed by the company settings.
Entering details and editing the request
The employee fills in the required dates, or the exact start and end time of the absence, and can add a note for the manager. The request can be reviewed, edited or cancelled to prevent errors.
Submitting and approving the request
After confirmation, the employee submits the request directly from the terminal. The system saves it automatically and sends it for approval to the manager, who receives the information in real time by email or as a notification on their mobile. Once approved, the employee is notified by email.
Automatic processing by the system
The system automatically evaluates whether the request includes weekends, holidays or days off and adjusts it according to the attendance rules. The terminal can also work in a combined mode with attendance, but its primary role is the convenient creation and management of absence requests.
Overview of balances
The employee has access to an overview of hours worked and overtime for the selected period, to the use of balances – leave, doctor, other – and to a summary of attendance events for the current month.
