Enhance Your Attendance System with Temperature Measurement

As preventive measures related to the new Coronavirus pandemic are getting less restrictive, people are returning to their workplaces from their homes. With Fingera, you may easily extend your existing attendance system by measuring the body temperature of your employees and visitors entering your offices.

Fingera attendance system makes it really simple

To improve the safety of your workplace, you only need to connect your current attendance terminal to a body temperature sensor via a USB.

The system will not let anyone with a higher temperature enter your premises, and it will also send a notification to the appropriate staff.

How does it work?

An infrared sensor, built in the camera at a distance of approximately 40 – 70 cm, will measure the body temperature of passing persons. The terminal screen will show the result using a colour scale – green, orange, or red. The colour categories have pre-determined values while temperature ranges may be modified as necessary.

If the system has identified someone with a higher temperature, it will send a notification to pre-determined competent personnel. If necessary, it will also alert the security service or doormen. System settings also have a feature which will not allow a person with a higher temperature to enter the building.

The system also enables the detection of face masks, which can be set.
